Harum Natali

Hello! I graduated from the Faculty of English Letters at Sanata Dharma University in Yogyakarta with a Degree in English Language and Literature. I spent many years in Jakarta teaching in the English literature faculty at BINUS University. I joined IELC in 2006 and I have helped hundreds of students to excel in the IELTS and TOEFL exams. I teach all levels and also help design IELC’s merchandise and posters.

Hi, I taught English for three years in South Korea before joining IELC in 2016. I have a Bachelors’ degree in Forensic and Crime Scene Science from Bournemouth University and a CELTA certificate in teaching English. Over the past few years, I’ve traveled around Southern Africa, Australia, and East Asia. Travelling around Indonesia has been great – I’ve been to so many amazing places!

Hello everyone, I got my bachelor’s degree in English Literature from STBA Lia in Yogjakarta and a Masters’ Degree in Translation from UNS University in Solo. In 2008, I lived in Exeter, the UK where I studied advanced English for one year. Before Joining IELC in 2014, I taught at the UNS Sebelas Maret language centre. I teach all ages and levels but my favorite class to teach is academic writing.

Hello! I attended Satya Wacana University and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in English Language and Literature. After finishing my studies, I taught English at Kota Bahasa in Salatiga before moving to Solo in 2014 to work at IELC. I teach a lot of the kid’s classes – they keep me young and energetic!

Hi everyone, I grew up near the border of English and French Canada so learning language is in my DNA. I got my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from McGill University and have had a desire to teach English since my late teens. I joined IELC in 2017 and am happy to say I enjoy almost everything about living in Solo.

Hi, I’m Christian, I graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Satya Wacana Christian University. Straight after graduation I taught English at the Bina Bangsa Semarang International School before joining IELC in 2014. I’m one of the experts in teaching young kids, I really enjoy working with children and seeing them improve and gain confidence.

Hello everyone, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English literature and a Master’s Degree in Translation Studies from UNS University. I also have diverse work experience, having worked as a liaison officer, radio announcer and master of ceremony. My passion however, is teaching English and meeting new students. I love getting my students to talk about all kinds of topics and we have a lot of fun in my classes!

I got my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bina Nusantara University in Jakarta. Despite being a computer science graduate, teaching English has always been my passion and I taught English in Jakarta for many years before joining IELC in 2015. I mostly teach the older kids’ classes and academic classes for IELTS and TOEFL.

Hey there, this is Meidi. I studied American Cultural Studies in the English Department at Sebelas Maret University. Growing up, I was always told that I should become a teacher. However, it was not until I started teaching that I realized how much I enjoy it! Before teaching at IELC, I used to teach at the Access Microscholarship Program, an English program from the US Embassy for teenagers. I love being in a diverse environment and meeting new students. And I believe that learning a new language should be fun!

Hi! My name is Prilia Nareswari. I graduated from GBSC, a private college in the US, with a BA in Integrative Studies (Intercultural Studies and Counseling). I also completed an online TEFL certification while I was there. I love learning foreign languages, especially English. I started learning English by listening to music, reading books and watching movies with no subtitles.

Hello everyone! I earned both my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Economics from Diponegoro University. My choice of becoming a teacher was inspired by one of my professors. I find teaching very rewarding, especially when my students become more confident. I like watching movies and playing video games and believe it or not, that’s what made me love learning English in the first place.

Danny was raised near Washington DC in the USA. He studied English Literature, Philosophy and Drums at the Virginia Commonwealth University. Danny first visited Indonesia on the Darmasiswa program to study Balinese Gamelan and has since performed with Gamelan groups in America. Danny has a longstanding interest in cultural exchange and enjoys teaching in Indonesia. This is the second time Danny has taught with IELC.
